Do surveys if you want to win in Pizza!

It’s a lot simpler than you think and an increbly effective tool. A simple 3 question survey printed on a 3 X 5 can get you more in control of your current business or direct you in starting up. Here are some sample questions:

questions

What is your favorite part of dining out?

What part of your meal did you like the least? Why

What type of music do you prefer while eating?

Is there something we can imptove on?

What is your favorite beer?

What is your favorite soft drink?

How was your service?

Was your table clean when your were seated?

Were greeted when you came in?

Please rate the cleanliness of the restaurant.

Was your waiter attentive?

Please rate the presentation of the staff.

What can we improve upon?

These question can be directed at just about any aspect of your business, the key is to do a lot of surveys, then go over them and look at the answers to each question and then act on the majority answer to each question. Example

54 people prefer Pespi 20 people Coke 2 Dr. pepper 24 Mountain dew

If you are only serving Coke and orange-you may want to look at serving Pepsi.

If you asked a question about your favorite dessert and the majority said apple pie and you only have chesse cake-you may want add Apple pie and sse what happens.

You can add the time of day on the survey and see if there are certain shifts doing poorly or better for product and or service.

Tou can look at the most common words used in your answers and use those words in your promotions to have more in common with your customers.

Or you could take a look at all your sale catagories and see what items are bought the most, what topping are most popular, what salads are bought most and use those top sellers in sales promotions and specials since those are already proven winners.

Ther is an unlimited tool here for you to use to guide and create a better and more profitable reataurant.

Start with 3 simple question and see the results-then it’s up to you to act. You can also add an online survey or complaints dept. The more you encourage your customers to communicate, the more information you will have. I hope this helps you improve on what you have and take it to the next level. Feel free to contact me with any questions on how to aply this-best wihes. Marc Cosentino
